WELCOME TO FOXES
Foxes are fantastic. We are always up to interesting activities in our classroom. We have very high expectations of ourselves and work hard to succeed and learn more and more everyday. Each half term we will have a new Learning Challenge focus - you can find out more about these in our blog pages below. We will update this page with key dates for our class but please keep checking Marvellous Me and book bags as things can change.
If you have any questions, just ask!
What do I need and when?
Monday - PE
Children need a white t-shirt, dark shorts and trainers.
Wednesday - Outdoor learning
Children will need a pair of wellies/old trainers that you do not mind getting a bit muddy and a bag to put them into after.
Don't forget to name all clothing so we can reunite them with their owners!
Learning Challenge Topics
Autumn - Where in the world did Christopher Columbus go?
Spring 1 - Fabulous Beasts
Spring 2 - What is the best way to defend a castle?
Summer 1 - What was the Great Fire of London?
Summer 2 - Is sport great in Nottingham?
We base a lot of our literacy, topic and science lessons around our Learning Challenges! Ask us all about them - we will be able to tell you lots of interesting facts!
Reading is VERY important. It helps us in everything we do. Please read as much as you can at home (at least once a day!) and make a note of it in the children's reading diaries.
This half term we are building our own Christopher Columbus ships! It is very exciting. We can use whatever material we like - paper, cardboard, lego!
Feel free to get involved to grown-ups! Use your imagination and have fun.
