Today, we looked at various images of Stone Age cave art. We discussed what we could see and thought about how Stone Age people might have created these works of art. Then, we got charcoal from the firepit and used this to recreate some of the images we had seen.
In Maths, we have been looking at number lines. We though about how we could count up in 2s, 5s, 10s, 20s or 100s to work out the increase of each interval. We used Post It notes on a blank number line to see if we could estimate where the numbers would go! We started with 0-10, then 10-100 and then 100-1000!
In Science, we have been looking at the human body. Miss Taylor gave us a challenge to see if we could put together the skeleton in the correct way! Once we had done this, we labelled the different parts. We learnt that the skeleton has three main jobs - to support us, to protect our internal organs and to help us move!
Today, as part of our Learning Challenge topic, we followed instructions to make our very own woolly mammoths! On Friday, we will write our own instructions for someone else to follow.
