What is special to you?

 

The Learning Challenge will be focussing on children talking about their family, homelife, toys.  It is a really gentle start to the term while the children settle in to their new surroundings and learn the routines of Nursery. 

 

A few dates for your calenders:

- Tuesday 1st October:  Bring in your own teddy for a teddy bear's picnic

- Wednesday 9th October:  Stay and Play (parents are invited to come and be with us in class) 1:45 - 2:45

- Week beginning Monday 14th October:  All things Diwali!!

 

 

Tasty Tuesday Treats

We kick started our Tasty Tuesday Treats with pizza faces!  The children had lots of fun adding features to their pizza face before sampling their masterpieces!  Look out for the next tasty treat …..

Pizza faces

On Monday we had a visit from the Mobile Library.  The children were so excited to explore the bus!  They were able to have a look at lots of books and then choose one to take back to the classroom.  What a fantastic experience for all of them!

For Black History week we created pictures in the style of Frank Bowling.

See how Bees created the pictures .......
 For Diwali Week our home corner changed into an Indian home, the children dressed up in saris and hats. Tasty Tuesday was eating rice. Making diva pots and mendhi patterns with henna plus lots more. 
Bees danced to Bollywood music using scarves.
