Shapes, Sides and Vertices | Version 1 | Jack Hartmann

Look at the shapes on the shape mat above. Can you work out for each shape:

1. How many sides does it have?

2. How many vertices does it have?

*Challenge: Do you know if it has a vertical line of symmetry?

(A vertical line of symmetry is that line which runs down an image thus dividing it into two identical halves. In other words, it is a straight standing line that divides an image or shape into two identical halves.)
