Below are the words we are focusing on this week. Today, I would like you to research the different meaning for the words and record them. Make sure you take care with the spellings of the words when you are writing them down.
Begin by using the 'look, cover, write, check' strategy to practise the words. Then, try to think of some clever ways of remembering the different spellings. You may be able to use the meanings of the words to help you come up with a way of remembering the spellings. For example:
Today, I'd like you to put the words into sentences, thinking carefully about making sure you have got the meaning right!
