Read the sentences below. Can you spot any spelling mistakes? Do you know how they should be spelt? Some of the words spelt incorrectly may sound the same as what the correct spellings are they just need to be spelt differently e.g. there = they're.

Today we will be looking at prefixes. Do you know what a prefix is? A prefix is a group of letters places before a word. The opposite the suffixes which we were learning about before! Adding the prefix can change the word's meaning.
