Welcome to Spring 1!
Our learning challenge question is ‘Can you save the rainforests?’ We will be learning about a very current topic in our world at the moment, exploring how much danger the Amazon and other major rainforests are in. If we continue the way we are, there will be no more rainforests in 100 years! We will learn about what the rainforest is used for, what lives there and how we can save it.
PE and dance
This half term dance is every Tuesday and PE is every Thursday. Please ensure your child has full PE kit for both days
Science- animals including humans
This topic is all about animals and humans and what they need to live a healthy, balanced life style. This links with diet, exercise, muscles and skeletons. We will look more closely at the human body but also we will make some comparisons to the bodies of animals too. Do you know how many bones are in an adult human body? Do adults and children have the same number of bones? How do we make our bodies move? All will be revealed this half term!
Keep your eyes peeled below for exciting updates on our learning this half term!
