Wagamama golden trip for the Always children

On Friday 2nd February, Falcons had their Golden trip for the 'Always Children'; these are the children that always follow the rules, always try hard, always demonstrate good manners and are always well behaved. For their excellent efforts up to this point, they were treated to a morning at Wagamama in Nottingham City centre. We were introduced to a wide range of vegetables that are good for us; we looked at 3 different types of noodle and some of us even developed a taste for tofu! After we explored the food, we were allowed to make our own dishes. The brilliant Sal (the chef) cooked up our delicious food and we basked in the glory of our brilliance. Well done the always children, this was truly well-deserved!

Homer's Odyssey

On Wednesday 17th January, we had a brilliant day with Mr Pepper! He taught us all about some famous Ancient Greeks. We followed the story of Ossydeus who went on a fantastic journey and met lots of interesting and frightful creatures along the way. We laughed, we gasped, we cringed but we enjoyed!

Thank you Mr Pepper for a thrilling day!

On Wednesday, Greece was the word!

Perseus vs The Kraken (1981)

Release the Kraken!

The above video is a scene from the classic film 'The Clash of the Titans'. We see our hero, Perseus, defeat the monstrous Kraken before he eats his wife Andromeda. This has been the stimulus for our creative writing over the past two weeks; keep an eye open for our completed newspaper reports on these dramatic events!

We're going on a multiplication hunt!
