The children wrote newspaper reports about what can be changed to become more sustainable.

This half term, we are learning about Crime and Punishment beyond 1066. We will be looking at the creation of the Police and prisons; Victorian crime and punishment; and how it has influenced crime and punishment today. We will be making our own judgements as to whether people are innocent or guilty, and also have a visit from a local police officer!

 

In Science, we are working scientifically. We will be learning about plants and their life cycles, as well as conducting some forensic science experiments!

 

In English, we are writing newspaper reports and diary entries linked to our new topic and our class reader (A Series of Unfortunate Events - the Bad Beginning by Lemony Snicket. 

 

In Maths, we are continuing with fractions, and will also be learning about decimals and percentages. 

 

PE this half term is on a Tuesday afternoon.
