Monday 18th May

Can you watch my story 'The Lion Inside' - click the link below.

So the lion was scared of the tiny mouse!

What are you scared of? Or what do you really not like? Can you write a sentence to tell me why?

Try and use this word in your sentence:  because

Could you find out what the people in your family are scared of or really don't like too?

Tuesday 19th May

Today lets think about things we really like! Think about something/someone you really love.

Can you write me a sentence to say what it is you love and why?

Use the word because to explain.

Remember to use a capital letter, finger spaces and a full stop!

Here is Miss Ellis' sentence:

I love seeing Butterflies Purple Mash work because it really makes me smile.

Wednesday 20th May

From speaking to you and your grown ups, I know a lot of you are really missing school and your friends.

Can you write a few sentences to say what/who you miss most at school and why?

Remember to use the word of the week... because

Here is Miss Ellis' sentence:

I miss teaching my wonderful Butterflies because seeing how hard they work and how happy they are always makes me proud.

Maybe tweet me @b_ellis2015 or add your writing to the Purple Mash blog so that I can see it!

Thursday 21st May

It is a funny time right now, but I want us to think about the things we are enjoying while at home with our families.

Can you think of something you have enjoyed and explain why?

Remember to use capital letters, finger spaces and full stops. Let's use the word because!

Friday 22nd May

Today can you write a list or some sentences about all the activities you have done while you have been at home?

It can be your home learning activities, but it could also include other things you have done!

Here is an example... how many things can you put on a list?

Miss Ellis' list of activities:

  • reading stories
  • PE with Joe Wicks
  • walking
  • working in school
