Watch the video above.

Order the plot points. Label each one with the emotions you think the three main characters would be feeling in each scene. Write three sentences next to each plot point explaining what is happening. Use adverbs and adjectives in your writing.

Activity 1 - Write a kit list for what is needed in a Wishgranter's toolbox. What are the essential items? How do they know whose wishes to grant? Remember to explain WHY the wishgranter needs each item.

Activity 2 - What would you wish for at the fountain? Why would you choose that? Convince the wishgranter that your wish MUST be granted and why it is so important to you.

Today, you are going to write two diary entries.

1. Write a diary entry for the man that appears first in the video at the fountain. Why had he arrived at the fountain? What had happened in his life before his wish? What did he wish for?

2. Write a diary entry from the man's point of view after the wish has been granted. What happened in his life?

Today, you are going to write a diary entry as the wishgranter. You are going to think about a 'normal' day for the wishgranter. How does the wishgranter feel every day, sat in a room alone, granting wishes for other people. What do you think the wishgranter would wish for if he could? How does granting wishes feel for him? Do you think he enjoys his job?

Use the plot points you set out on Monday to plan your narrative (story). Pick one of the three main characters and write each plot point as a paragraph.

Make sure you include parenthesis, relative clauses, adverbs, expanded noun phrases, speech (punctuating correctly), and emotive language.
