Year 4
Welcome to Year 4!
We have lots of exciting learning in Year 4! This half term, we will be looking at Ancient Civilisations in history, electricity in science and will have many opportunities for creative writing as well as continuing to improve our skills and knowledge across all subjects. We also get to go swimming this half term and learn how to play a clarinet!
Multiplication Check
Times tables are so important in maths and in Year 4, we do lots of practice, ready for our multiplication check in the summer term. We practice our times tables using Times Tables Rock Stars regularly and also in our maths learning. It is important that children are practising these as often as possible. Below is a link to a game that can help children with their times tables.

What do I need and when?
Children should bring their green spelling books in each day to support with their spelling and continue to bring their reading cards into school for signing and stamping by the class teacher on a Friday.
This half term, the children will need their PE kits on a Thursday for gymnastics. If you need any support with children's PE kits then please contact the school office. Thank you.
