PE and Sport Premium 

The government provides additional funding to improve provision of physical education (PE) and sport in primary schools. Funding for schools is calculated based on the number of primary-aged pupils (between the ages of 5 and 11). 

The documents below outline the amount of PE and Sports Premium funding received each year and how this money is spent. It is reviewed each year and includes an impact report. 

Swimming Proficiency 

Children in Year groups 3 to 6 attend swimming sessions at Southlgade Leusure Centre. Information regarding swimming proficiency is contained in the PE and Sport Premium Report 2025-2026 and the PE and Sport Premium Grant Expenditure for 2025-2026.
